This quilt began with a search for a pattern I knew I had already purchased but couldn’t find.   So I launched my EQ8 software and started designing.  With the pieced 4-square background, this pattern is different from the one I’d been searching for but it’s this pieced background that adds the illusion of movement … like the windstorm from whirring helicopter blades … like ... a Whirlwind.
